LETS HELP YOU GET ONBOARDED

3. Typically if there are availabilities, there will be a time slot for an online orientation opening under where it says “Availability”. When the day and time comes, there will be a red button saying “Login Now” and there will be a 30 minute online orientation for you to complete and once that is over you will be given a Group Interview time.

4. Once the day and time of your interview comes, you will join via the link that should’ve been emailed to you. The interview will go over all the further information you need such as the onboarding process. Once your interview is over you should get an email stating your acceptance and a link to your dashboard which should show this:

5. Once you add your references, go through the agreements, get your references verified, you must finish your HealthStream Courses which will take approximately 11 hours.

6. Once that is finished you will have to submit your background check and plan a visit to the Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital’s Workforce Health and Wellness center with your vaccine records and a Health Requirement Form hat will be provided to you via the dashboard. There you will get your required vaccinations checked and a TB screening unless you have received one within three months prior.

7. Volunteer Services will then get a copy of your results and will send you an email about further actions such as referring you to the volunteer program.

8. Wait for an email from your volunteer supervisor concerning your badge!

9. When it is time to receive your badge you will get a packet emailed to you from your supervisor or volunteer services containing a form and directions to the badge office. Once the form is filled, plan another visit to LPCH:

10. Once you receive your badge contact your supervisor and plan a quick in person orientation with them and your start date!

*Your scrubs will be given to you by your supervisor and your meal card and lanyard will be mailed to you.
